NO This document is based on the research and revision of secondary information and case studies about fisheries supply chains. The identification of key issues in the supply chain was initially envisaged through communicating with, and involvement of, some of the main retailers, to gain a working knowledge of their supply chains. Due to their reluctance to provide information on their supply chain beyond the general background policy information readily available on the internet, (a situation that is reviewed further in this document) the focus was switched to analysing existing studies on supply chains originating at the producers or harvesters’ level rather than that of the retailers.
