NO This document presents Burkina Faso’s submission to COP3 of the Bamako Convention proposing revisions to Article 2 and Annex I. It replaces automatic inclusion of banned hazardous substances with a Conference of the Parties review process and adds a new Annex I.B. The text sets out old and new formulations, notes the need to align with national legislation, and recalls the amendment procedure. It includes a draft decision reflecting these changes and states that radioactive wastes remain within scope, while ship-generated wastes covered by instruments are excluded.
