NO This report is a Terminal Review of UNEP/GEF Project Leapfrogging Chilean’s markets to more efficient refrigerator and freezers, implemented between 2018 and 2022. The project's overall development goal was to support Chile to increase the market share of high energy efficiency domestic refrigerators and freezers by focusing on the development of supporting policies, standards and regulations as well as involving domestic consumers through replacement campaigns, educational and awareness-raising actions. The review sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness, and efficiency), and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability. The review has two primary purposes: (i) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (ii) to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, the GEF and the relevant agencies of the project participating countries.
