NO The overall objective of the action (the project) is to support Uganda toachieve sustainable tourism development by engaging in the transitiontowards an inclusive green industry based on sustainable consumptionand production (SCP) patterns, while generating growth, reducingpoverty and creating decent jobs for communities, and minimising theimpact of the tourism sector on the environment. The project aims tomap existing sustainable criteria, standards and labels for the tourismsector in order to discuss (in a dialogue with the private sector) thepotential of marketing incentives for the promotion of eco-tourism inUganda.
