The “UN Guidance for Action on Critical Energy Transition Minerals” was developed by the UN Secretary-General’s Working Group on Transforming the Extractive Industries for Sustainable Development to drive collective action in the implementation of these principles and recommendations. It unpacks the meaning of each principle, referring to specific standards, policies, case studies, knowledge resources, partnerships, and programmes to assist countries in their effective implementation.
