NO The objective of the second consultation workshop of the biodiversity-related conventions on the GBF(Bern II) is for Parties, Secretariats and other stakeholders to reflect on the best way to involvebiodiversity-related conventions and other relevant MEAs in contributing to the development of theGBF and its effective implementation through coherent, coordinated, complementary and synergeticapproaches, working as appropriate with international organizations and programmes. Inclusion ofthe contributions of all relevant MEAs in the body of the GBF will enhance a feeling of sharedownership. Beyond the GBF, cooperation with biodiversity-related conventions and other relevantMEAs should also be reflected in other relevant decisions of the CBD Conference of the Parties(hereafter “CBD COP15”), relating both to the substance and to the implementation, monitoring andreview of the GBF.
