NO This document summarizes consumer-level food waste in Bangkok, Thailand, using findings from a 2019 survey and other reported measurements showing food waste as a large share of municipal solid waste and substantial daily household generation per person. It outlines the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s role in collection, transfer stations, separation, and disposal, and identifies key barriers, including limited separate collection, weak incentives, low awareness, limited suitable technology, and scarce data. It reviews national and city plans that call for coordinated reduction across the food supply chain and stronger local capacity.
