NO The main objective of the Action Plan is to protect the marine environment and coastal areas, in order to promote the conservation of the health and well-being of present and future generations. The Plan aims at providing an appropriate framework for the establishment of a suitable comprehensive policy which will enable this objective to be attained, bearing in mind the specific needs of the region.
