NO The Food Security and Adaptation to Climate Change Conference with the theme: "Harnessing Ecosystem based Approaches for Food Security and Adaptation to Climate Change in Africa,” was held on August 20th-21st 2013, at the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) Headquarters in Nairobi Kenya. The conference was convened by UNEP in collaboration with FAO and other UN Agencies, governments, research institutions, NGOs, scholars, donors and local governments and experts from various sectors. The conference brought together some of Africa’s leading academicians, experts and subject matter specialists in the various climate change related sectors.
