The meeting was attended by representatives of the NOWPAP member states, namely the People’s Republic of China, Japan, the Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation. The Directors of the four NOWPAP Regional Activity Centres also attended. The representatives from the UNEP East Asian Seas Regional Coordinating Unit and the UNDP/GEF Yellow Sea Large Marine Ecosystem Project attended as observers.
