Targeting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) within South Africa's agriculture, it details efforts to increase awareness and adoption of sustainable consumption and production (SCP) through eco-labelling. The project established multi-stakeholder collaborations, developed three sustainability standards for South African farmers, and piloted these standards with nine smallholder farms across three provinces. As a result, farmers reported improved waste and water management, reduced overhead costs, and enhanced market access, leading to higher profits and employment.
