For halon 1301, the 2006 Assessment indicates an even greater global inventory or bank of halon 1301 as compared with the 2002 assessment. The global bank of halon 130 lat the end of 2005 is now estimated to be approximately 50,000 metric tonnes(MT) as compared with the 2002 assessment of 39,000 MT.
