NO The report is structured in three sections. The first section outlines key global and regional developments of a non-programmatic nature, including major intergovernmental meetings and policy or political developments relevant to climate change, nature and land loss, and pollution. The second section presents results achieved under the 2024–2025 Programme of Work, organised according to the three strategic objectives of climate stability, living in harmony with nature, and a pollution-free planet. It also covers progress under the foundational sub-programmes on science-policy and environmental governance, the enabling sub-programmes on digital transformation and finance and economic transformation, and cross-cutting issues such as gender, environmental and social safeguards, repositioning of the United Nations development system, and South–South cooperation. This section further identifies challenges, opportunities, lessons learned, and actions taken during the reporting period. The third section provides updates on the financial and human resource situation of the organisation, alongside developments in key management areas, including audits and evaluations, offering an overview of institutional capacity and oversight relevant to programme implementation.
