NO In the past decades there has been increasing demand for companies, and other organizations, to be more accountable and transparent in disclosing the impact of their activities and products. Sustainability reporting has therefore emerged as a useful tool for measuring and communicating companies’ sustainability performance, and determining their contribution to the global objectives of sustainable development. This publication has been produced to help advance the uptake and quality of sustainability reporting. Jointly, the handbook and the toolkit form a valuable and comprehensive source of information and a clear reference for policy makers willingto play a leading role on this agenda in their respective countries.
