It is developed in line with the Regional Action Plan on Marine Litter (RAP MALI), which guides coordinated action in the East Asian Seas region toward preventing and reducing marine litter from land-based sources and from sea-based sources, strengthening monitoring and assessment of marine litter, and creating enabling conditions for implementation.
