NO In Cambodia and other countries in the region, lead acid batteries (LAB) are consumed for use as the second power source after electricity, and they are used for a variety of domestic, commercial and social purposes, e.g. vehicle/engine and other facility operations, lighting, etc. The growth of LAB consumption in Cambodia has noticeably increased because electricity supply has not met the demand of people living in the city suburbs and rural areas.
