NO This report examines emerging environmental issues by assessing three interconnected themes: urban noise pollution, increasingly severe wildfires under changing climatic conditions, and shifts in the seasonal timing of biological events. It draws on current scientific evidence, case studies and published research to explain the environmental drivers, ecological and human health implications, and regional patterns associated with each issue. The report outlines how these challenges affect ecosystems, biodiversity and society while presenting examples of existing management approaches and adaptation measures. It also highlights knowledge gaps and the need for continued scientific investigation to improve understanding of emerging environmental risks and support informed environmental decision-making based on available evidence.
