NO The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) has issued this report in response to a request from the State of Palestine to assess environmental damage arising from the conflict in the Gaza Strip, pursuant to United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) Resolution 6/12 regarding “Environmental assistance and recovery in areas affected by armed conflict”. This is the second assessment of environmental damage in the Gaza Strip issued by UNEP since October 2023.
