NO This study quantifies the sources of cadmium in the European Community (EC), reviews the concentrations found in the physical environment and its biotic components, and assesses current and future human exposure in the region. No attempt has been made to evaluate cadmium toxicity data generated from human studies or experimentally dosed animals. The risk of adverse health effects in humans is considered only in relation to the magnitude of exposure.
