NO The meeting on the Partnership on Science to Policy Forum was organized by the Secretariat of the NairobiConvention for the Protection, Management and Development of the Marine and Coastal Environment ofthe Western Indian Ocean region in collaboration with the Western Indian Ocean Marine ScienceAssociation (WIOMSA) and the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) in Mahe, Seychelles on the 11-12October 2016. It was attended by about 60 participants including the Minister of Environment, Energy &Climate Change of Seychelles, Hon. Didier Dogley, Secretary of State in charge of the Ocean, Governmentof Madagascar, Hon. Dr. Ylenia Randrianarisoa, Directors of Environment and Fisheries, representatives ofresearch institutions and universities, senior experts, regional partners and non-governmental organizationsfrom Comoros, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Seychelles, South Africa and Tanzania.
