NO This is the final report of the Terminal Evaluation of a UNEP/UNDP/GEF “Building Capacity for LDCS to participate effectively in intergovernmental climate change processes” project implemented between 2015 and 2020.The project's overall development goal was to “support LDCs to effectively engage in and implement the outcomes of intergovernmental climate change negotiations”; and its objective was to “strengthen institutional and technical capacities in LDCs for more effective participation in intergovernmental climate change negotiations and coordination of climate change efforts.”The evaluation sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency), and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability. The evaluation has two primary purposes: (i) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (ii) to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, UNDP, and the relevant agencies of the project participating countries.
