RT null T1 Mine Rehabilitation for Environment and Health Protection - A Training Manual A1 United Nations Environment Programme, A1 World Health Organization, K1 health K1 manual K1 mine K1 rehabilitation K1 environmental protection SN 92-807-1720-0 YR 1998 FD 1998 LK https://wedocs.unep.org/handle/20.500.11822/30173 UL https://wedocs.unep.org/handle/20.500.11822/30173 NO This manual has been prepared jointly by the United Nations Environment Programme, Industry and Environment (UNEP JE) and the World Health Organisation (WHO). It complements an earlier trainer's package on Environmental Management of Mine Sites (UNEP lIE Technical Report No. 30). The earlier report introduced in a general way some of the key environmental issues relating to mines. This present manual covers one of these in a more comprehensive manner - that of site rehabilitation. Rehabilitation is the aspect most easily perceived by regulators and the public as being deficient in mining operations. It is important that companies put emphasis on this aspect, and this in turn needs competent, trained personnel. DS UN Environment Document Repository RD Sep 18, 2026
