NO The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by the United Nations (UN) in 2015, has brought with it the need for enhanced monitoring of the environmental dimensions of development. The UN Environment Assembly adopted Resolution 5/11 (2022) on ‘Enhancing circular economy as a contribution to achieving sustainable consumption and production’ invites UN Member States to integrate circular economy approaches into national and regional strategies and action plans.
