NO This report examines the scientific principles involved in selecting appropriate marine sites for the disposal of wastes and evaluates how such activities may affect the marine environment. Prepared by an expert working group convened by the Joint Group of Experts on the Scientific Aspects of Marine Pollution, the document reviews advances in research and updates earlier guidance on sea dumping practices.
