It aims to accelerate the transition by enhancing institutional technical capacities to produce circular economy and waste datasets for evidence-based policy development. The scope spans global, regional, and national levels, focusing on improving methodologies, fostering dialogue between data users and producers, and strengthening national statistical systems. Methods include developing measurement guidelines, organising regional workshops, and delivering targeted national support, alongside methodological development for a selected waste stream. The project emphasises coordinated capacity building and data systems to support monitoring and policy processes. DS UN Environment Document Repository RD Sep 17, 2026
