NO Although crude oil has become the country’s primary source of export earnings, energy access for the population is very low. Electricity production in 2015 was 28 ktoe with 96.4 per cent of it generated from fossil fuels. Final electricity consumption in 2015 was 20 ktoe (AFREC, 2015).
