NO Following the Invitation letter from the President of the ECOSOC to the Members of the United Nations Environment Assembly of UNEP, to provide inputs to the thematic review of the 2022 HLPF, we would like to thank UNEP Secretariat for providing the document UNEP/SC/2022/7/2, in this regard.Let us start our comments by recalling Operative Part 3(b) of UNEA Resolution 3/3, according to which inputs to be provided will also take into account the Sustainable Development Goals under review at each year of the annual meetings of the forum. And, for the ongoing year 2022, the HLPF will review progress towards the following SDGs: SDG 4 on quality education; SDG 5 on gender equality; SDG 14 on life below water; SDG 15 on life on land; and SDG 17 on Partnership for Global Goals.
