NO This document sets out the key messages and urgent calls to action of an international multi-stakeholder dialogue on transforming food systems for environmental and social sustainability, coinciding with the preparation for Stockholm+50. It highlights that there is little time left to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and emphasises the need for bold, systemic change at all levels to tackle unsustainable consumption and production patterns in food systems that are critical to both the health of the planet and the prosperity of people. The document emphasises the interconnectedness of climate, health and nutrition and urges the promotion of healthier eating habits and the use of public procurement, such as school meals, to drive change. It also emphasises the central role of resilient food systems in addressing threats such as COVID-19, climate change and conflict, and advocates for inclusive, multi-stakeholder governance, financial adaptation and targeted policy reforms.
