This summary is based on six sections on various regions of the United Republic of Tanzania, with their findings and recommendations; and of a proposed Action Plan for the protection, management and development of the marine and coastal environment of the United Republic of Tanzania, developed in the context of the regional Action Plan for the Protection, Management and Development of the Marine and Coastal Environment of the Eastern African Region.
