NO Africa’s rich natural mineral, energy, forest, agriculture and water resources provide livelihoods and wealth for African citizens and play an increasingly important role in the global economy. In this report, the African Union Panel of the Wise seeks to promote peace and security in Africa by highlighting how local, state, regional and multilateral institutions can enhance the mediation and resolution of natural resource-related conflicts.
