It compiles data gathered from multiple municipal departments and relevant agencies to describe trends in air quality, water resources, solid waste, land subsidence and related urban pressures arising from rapid development. Monitoring results indicate that small particulate matter frequently exceeded standards in high traffic areas, with associated respiratory risks, while certain locations recorded elevated carbon monoxide levels. Water supplied by treatment plants met international health guidelines, although river quality showed signs of deterioration and increasing competition for freshwater. The report also outlines regulatory measures, inspection campaigns and cooperative projects aimed at pollution control and environmental improvement.
