The purpose of the PIC Circular is to provide all Parties, through their Designated National Authorities (DNAs), with the information required to be circulated by the Secretariat in line with Articles 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13 and 14. The Decision Guidance Documents to be dispatched to Partiesin line with Article 7, paragraph 3, are sent out in a separate communication. The PIC Circular is published every six months, in June and December, respectively. The present Circular contains information related to and received in the period from 1 November 2014 to 30April2015. In order to allow time for processing the information received in preparation of the PIC Circular, information received after 30April 2015 has generally not been included, and will be included in the next PIC Circular. Considerable efforts have been made by the Secretariat to ensure that the information included in the PIC Circular is both complete and accurate. DNAs are requested to review the information relating to their countries and communicate any inconsistencies, errors or omissions to the Secretariat.
