NO The working Group on Guidelines for the Control of Toxic and Other hazardous Chemical Waste was convened in Gariniscd-Fartenkirchen from 17 to 20 March 1981 by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the WHO Regional Office for Europe, in collaboration with the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. The meeting was attended by 41 participants, including waste management professionals, environmental scientists, chemists, chemical engineers, civil engineers, toxicologists, physicians, economists, lawyers and administrators from 21 countries.
