NO This document outlines the concept, objectives, and agenda for the inaugural Africa Environment Partnership Platform convened in Nairobi in September 2018, organized by AMCEN in conjunction with the NEPAD Agency, the African Union Commission, and partners. It situates the platform in Africa’s natural-resource endowment and a set of environmental challenges, and frames AEPP as a coordination mechanism aligned with the NEPAD Environment Action Plan, the outcomes of Rio+20, the Sustainable Development Goals, and Africa’s Agenda 2063.
