NO The purpose of this paper is to propose mechanisms to improve the alignment of international climate finance with national priorities for the implementation of the Paris Agreement Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), by mapping practice and identifying barriers to the alignment of finance by Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) – which include Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and Bilateral Development Banks (BDBs) – to NDCs and possible solutions to overcome these barriers.
