NO This workshop aimed to share challenges and showcase existing measures for addressing marine litter from ALDFG or ‘ghost gear’ in the East Asian Seas region. Participants shared best practice measures for prevention, recovery, and management of ghost gear for replication, discussed relevant national and international efforts and frameworks including on gear marking, and identified national and region-specific challenges, opportunities, and priority needs.
