NO This report is a management-led Terminal Review of a UNEP/GEF project implemented between 2016 and 2022 “Ratification and Implementation of the Nagoya Protocol in the Pacific Region" (GEF ID: 5634). The project's overall development goal was to to support Pacific Island countries in ratifying the Nagoya Protocol and implementing key measures to make the Protocol operational in the region. The review sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency), and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability. The review has two primary purposes: (i) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (ii) to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, GEF, SPREP, and the relevant agencies of the project participating countries.
