NO This book presents an overview of UNEPs Global Judges Programme, and describes the process by which the programme has been initiated, strengthened and expanded throughout the years and especially as a follow up to the UNEP Global Judges Symposium held in Johannesburg on August 2002 and decision 22/17, IIB, asking the Executive Director of UNEP to put in place a worldwide capacity building programme for judiciaries and other legal stakeholders in the field of environmental law.
