Specifically, SDG 12.7 calls the promotion of public procurement practices that are sustainable in accordance with national policies and priorities, and governments are encouraged to participate in the monitoring of the number of countries that are implementing SPP policies and action plans. This progress report provides a preliminary assessment of the current environmental legal framework affecting the public procurement and existing instruments to support the implementation of SPP in the Republic of Moldova.
