NO This document presents analyses from 16 countries on how young adults perceive, experience, and engage with sustainable lifestyles, drawing on the Global Survey on Sustainable Lifestyles (GSSL). It offers a rich mosaic of culturally and socially specific findings, reflecting attitudes and behaviors related to sustainability in areas such as food, mobility, consumption, community participation, and expectations for the future. Each country case study explores lifestyle patterns and motivations among youth aged 18–35, identifying barriers to sustainable behaviors and proposing innovation opportunities tailored to local contexts. The document also reveals diverse yet converging themes — like the rising importance of ethical food choices, dissatisfaction with public transport, and skepticism about governmental leadership—while highlighting a global appetite among youth for empowerment, community engagement, and clearer pathways to action.
