NO The issue of MSW management is considered to be one of the key drivers for countries worldwide to achieve the goals of both the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Under the Paris Agreement, countries’ nationally determined contributions (NDCs) can include action on waste management as part of efforts to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, using waste as a source of energy, recycling and reuse; and recovering methane from landfills.
