NO The effectiveness of the project was high as it met all the targets at output and intermediate outcome level in a timely manner. The project contributed to strengthening the institutional capacity of the country by a) increasing capacities of government institutions; b) facilitating the establishment of a coordination mechanism; c) assisting with the elaboration of two action plans; d) strengthening the national legislative & regulatory frameworks; and e) supporting to meet the reporting requirements under the Stockholm and Basel Conventions.
