NO This document serves as a background note for consideration of Agenda Item 5: Update on regional preparations for the resumed session of UNEA-5 and special session on UNEP@50. It has been prepared by UNEP’s Regional Offices and it summarizes the regional preparations for the resumed session of UNEA 5, to be held from 28 February to 2 March, followed by a special session on UNEP@50, to be held on 3 –4 March 2022. Member States are invited to review and provide feedback to UNEP´s Regional Offices with regard to regional preparations for the resumed session of UNEA-5 and special session on UNEP@50.
