NO The South Asian Seas Programme (SASP) has taken the initiative in organising a Training Workshop on Marine Resources Sampling, Data Collection & Interpretation for the SouthAsian Seas based on a recommendation of the IntergovernmentalMeeting of Ministers of SASP, wherein Capacity Building has been identified as one of the four major activities. Some of the cross-cutting issues are Development of National Research, Monitoring and Assessment Capacity, including Training in Assessment and Early Warning
