Abstract

This document details how global food production and consumption cause environmental degradation, climate change, and biodiversity loss. While solutions exist to support a growing population, their scope is restricted by inadequate policies and distorted market subsidies. To meet sustainability targets by 2030, the document advocates for integrated land-use planning, agroecological methods, and reduced food waste. These general approaches aim to restore degraded soils, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and secure human health.
