Youth Task Force of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030)

This background and mandate document outlines the establishment, purpose and governance of the Youth Task Force for the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021–2030). In March 2019, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed the Decade to scale up efforts to prevent, halt and reverse ecosystem degradation while encouraging broad stakeholder participation, including women, children, young people, older persons, persons with disabilities, Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
