Report of 9th NOWPAP MERRAC Focal Points Meeting

Based upon the decision of the Eighth NOWPAP MERRAC Focal Points Meeting, the Ninth MERRAC Focal Points Meeting was held in MERRAC from 5 to 7 June 2006. In addition, the First NOWPAP Workshop on Marine Litter would be held in Incheon, Republic of Korea from 8 to 9 June, back to back with this Meeting, as one of the major activities for NOWPAP Marine Litter Activity (MALITA), which was organized by MERRAC with supported by the NOWPAP Regional Co-ordinating Unit (RCU), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and International Maritime Organization(IMO). The workshop was sponsored by the Government of the Republic of Korea and Incheon Metropolitan City.
