Transforming our world : The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

This resolution sets out a universal plan of action adopted by Heads of State and Government to guide global sustainable development until 2030. It defines 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets that integrate economic, social and environmental dimensions, aiming to eradicate poverty, reduce inequality, protect the planet, promote prosperity, and ensure peace and justice. The document outlines principles grounded in international law and human rights, identifies contemporary global challenges, and details means of implementation, including finance, technology transfer, capacity building, and trade. It establishes a revitalised global partnership and a multi-level follow-up and review framework supported by indicators and strengthened national statistical systems to monitor progress.
