Validated Terminal Review of the UNEP/GEF Project “Support in the Design and Implementation of the Integrated Monitoring System of Climate Change for Honduras” (GEF ID 9942) 2019 – 2024

This report is a management-led Terminal Review of a UNEP/GEF project implemented between 2021 and 2025. The project's overall development goal was to develop Honduras’ technical and logistical capacities for the creation and operation of an integrated climate change monitoring system. The review sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency) and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability. The review has two primary purposes: (i) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (ii) to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, GEF and relevant organisations in participating countries.
