Validated Terminal Review of the UNEP/GEF Project Strengthening climate services and early warning systems in the Gambia for climate resilient development and adaptation to climate change (GEF ID 5071) 2017 – 2022

This report is a management-led Terminal Review of a UNEP/GEF project implemented between 2017 and 2022. The project's overall development goal was to strengthen The Gambia's climate monitoring capabilities, early warning systems and available information for responding to climate shocks and planning adaptation. The review sought to assess project performance (relevance, effectiveness and efficiency) and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability. The review has two primary purposes: (i) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (ii) to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, GEF and the relevant agencies of the project participating countries.
